I know, I know. To the ones who know me, you’re thinking, duh! you always have to pee, for those of you who don’t really know me, now you do. I’ll spend a third of my life asleep, and at least another fifth of it peeing.

It saddens me how slow my desktop has become at doing tasks. At one time (as with all technology) it was a BEAST, now it barely can sing out a meow. Poor giant PowerMac, it’s little 1.6Ghz PowerPC processor is probably at the limit just keeping up with my typing in Safari. It’s such a beautifully designed piece of technology that no matter how old it gets, i’ll still keep it as part of my Apple shrine. It almost feel cruel to have a considerably faster MacMini attached to the TV that does nothing but run iTunes and FrontRow.

I’ve got Pandora running on my iPad right now, and it is just plain horrible at selecting music today. The Kylie Minogue station turned into nothing but trance after a few songs (which I’ve grown use to), and now the Frankmusik channel is just playing the most bizarre shit. The only recognizable thing it has picked lately was Tiesto, and it wasn’t even a good mix (Somewhere out there a little twink just died at me saying that). Lets try switching the station to Forever The Sickest Kids and see where that gets us.

I forgot that today was Import Alliance until Paul reminded me last night. I kinda wanted to go, but mostly didn’t want to. Last year was just drama, and I had a feeling this year would turn into the same mess. It would have been a big waste of gas to go down there today anyway, plus I don’t have the cash to get in. Maybe i’ll go next year and by then i’ll have gotten over being mad about last years and it might be more fun.

I think poor Billy has been stuck on the same part of his video game for two days straight now. I don’t have the patience for things like that. I get frustrated enough playing Uncharted when I can’t figure out what I’m supposed to do next. My mom has been watching me play Uncharted and she treats it like an interactive movie. I give her credit though, the story line is good enough that it could be a movie.

I think its time to actually go pee, followed by rummaging for a snack!
Not all dogs, just the white one. The little black dog we have just swaps sides as she sees fit. It was bound to happen sooner or later, but I’m almost glad it has finally started. Soon they’ll prove their dominance and put him in his place and the world will go on as it’s supposed to. Plus since everyone will be out of town next week, I have to babysit my cats, and their dogs all together. So I’d rather everyone be on the same page now, that way come Wednesday we should be all good.

We fired up the pool today and dumped some shock in it to turn the water clear. It’s late enough in the year that we shouldn’t have to worry about it freezing. The water isn’t anywhere near warm enough to swim or anything but at least it won’t be a green pond any longer. I’m looking forward to working more on my tan too! Other than that it’s been a fairly tame weekend so far. How about you, anything fun happen yet?

While I know good and well that people who take things like ambien generally have very strange dreams, or do things in their sleep that they have no memory of, I didn’t think over the counter drugs would do that too.

Truthfully speaking I really need to go to the doctor. I’ve been battling sleep depravation for a while now, and sometimes it does go away, but more often than not it comes right back. I have a hard time getting my brain to turn off at night so I can get to sleep, and when I do (on my own) I never get into a deep sleep. I end up waking up several times throughout the night and end up feeling more tired the next morning than when I went to bed the night before.

Another problem is Billy’s snoring. I’m not mad at him over it, because I know it’s not something he can necessarily control, but it is still a problem. It has gotten so bad lately that if I can get my brain to turn off, I can’t get to sleep because of how loud it is.

I guess I should get back on point. Last night I had a very vivid dream that I was in the hospital and needed surgery. I honestly don’t know why I was there, but it was a life or death type deal. I had to have half of my stomach removed (very odd I know). I remember going under anesthesia, and then having a semi out of body (within a dream) experience of watching the surgeon do the operation on me, while also feeling paralyzed. I couldn’t feel the operation, but I could tell it was happening to me. I’m not a huge believer in dream analysis but it has been fairly accurate in the past. Does anyone have any clue what this means?

For all I know one of the cats climbed up on my stomach in my sleep and started kneading on me.

It’s the end of the work week for most people, for me it’s just another day. A day full of laundry that is. I can’t complain though since I actually almost enjoy it. Sad hearing myself say that ya know? I think it’s just spending time with myself being productive that I enjoy. Plus I love these high efficiency machines. Right now I’m done with two loads, the third is in the dryer, and the last just finished in the washing machine. Almost there!

Billy has been debating all week if he wanted to stay and work late tonight, or if he’d rather just go into work one day this weekend. I kinda made the decision for him on accident. I had forgotten that this weekend was the Atlanta Auto Show, and we are going to do that one day. So now he’s planning to just work late tonight. I hope he doesn’t have to stay too late.

Day two of leaving the dog out of the kennel went smoothly again. I’m staring to wonder if he isn’t just peeing somewhere and hiding it from me. Speaking of, the other dog is doing the opposite. It doesn’t matter how many times I take her outside, she just won’t pee. I don’t know where she’s storing it up, but I have the feeling she’s going to blow any minute.

I was going to lay outside in the sun this morning while my first load of laundry was going, but at fifty-four degrees it was just a little too cold. The high is supposed to be sixty-seven but it won’t get there until five o’clock. By then the sun will be too low to get any benefit from it. Guess I’ll just have to wait until next week to get my brown on.

Ooh I think I hear the dryer chiming and calling my name!

One of these days I’m going to have to get me a job. Seriously though I NEED work, its beyond the relaxing phase. I’m almost caught up on all of my backlogged tv shows, and my tan is coming along nicely. I would have laid out today since the sun is out and it’s beautiful again, but the wind is blowing something fierce. I love a nice breeze but this is seriously almost putting a chill in the air.

Today is the first day that we’ve left Bentley out of the kennel when everyone is at work (and before I get up). I was pleasantly surprised when I came downstairs and there wasn’t a mess or any puddles to clean up. Quite refreshing if I do say so myself. I wish I had gotten more sleep last night though. Billy kept me awake for hours snoring and I never got to sleep (even after taking pills) until I went to the other room. It’s not hit fault I know, but its really frustrating sometimes.

I think I actually like Tumblr more than WordPress, it’s just got a bit “more” to it. I do wish I could find a way to make a photo gallery page though. Oh and I wish the Tumblr people would make a freaking iPad app already! I mean how many million iPads have been sold (both versions) its obvious we need an ‘app for that’!

Oh, and of course I need to let you know about my odd pregnancy cravings. Not that I’m pregnant, but when you start craving Salt & Vinegar chips something is up. I thought I’d try the Publix brand chips this week, be warned! These chips are much stronger than Lays chips.

Last thing, I promise. I have been in love with this song (and it’s music video) for weeks now. If you haven’t heard of it, you really need to give it a listen. It’s called “Oh No!” by Marina & the Diamonds. I’m going to post the music video right behind this so check it out!

So here we are, day four of being snowed in. Actually it hasn’t been THAT bad, but of course we’ve managed to keep semi-busy enough to skate the boredom. Yesterday and today Billy and I escaped during the day to get some lunch and to pick up some stuff from the store. Today we also went out further and picked up Andy from his house to save him from his boredom. Once the sun goes down we’re still stuck inside though. Gwinnett County decided earlier to close our road at the entrance to our neighborhood because of all the ice and to keep through traffic on the highway. So we now can only turn left out of the neighborhood and attempt to climb the hill rather than go the other way; lucky us!

Right now I’m half-watching them play Super Mario Bros. on the Wii, and half-listening to Pandora. Oh well I guess I’m full on blogging on top of all that, but it was kind of obvious. I should be doing laundry since the hamper is full, but I really don’t want to. Who does want to laundry though? It’s not the sorting or doing the laundry I hate, it’s the hanging up of clothes that sucks.

I found my old digital camera yesterday. I wanted to love that camera so much. It was a very expensive slim Sony CyberShot camera, but it takes some of the worst pictures I’ve ever seen. I took the memory stick (seriously Sony, fail on not using SD) out and plugged it in and found some old pictures. They’re all bad quality, but it’s funny seeing me with long hair, and Bailey as a little kitten. I discovered that I could use the camera connection kit for my iPad to plug in a USB card reader with the memory stick to upload the pictures. Ghetto to need so many things in a daisy-chain to make it work, but neat that it does actually work.

WordPress updated their iOS app the other day, and it seems to be more stable, although the keyboard still lags on my iPad while typing. I’ve quit all the other apps (except Pandora & AIM) so it shouldn’t be low on memory. It’s getting a bit annoying typing so I think I’m going to run for now. Stay warm y’all!

While many places in the US are use to getting snow on a regular basis in the winter, the south is not. We usually average one good dusting of snow that lasts about a day a year and that’s usually all we ever see. This on the other hand is just absurd for what we’re use to. We got three inches in about an hour last night, starting around 9:00pm and it continued all night. We’ve been stuck in the house all day as has most everyone else. It isn’t sleeting at the moment, but it is supposed to continue again throughout the night, so tomorrow will probably be worse than today was. The snow got so heavy on top of the frozen pool last night that the ice cracked, and the cold water flooded over the snow and made an even thicker sheet of ice.

Last night before we went to bed the neighborhood was beautiful and uniform. Our neighbor has been going in and out all day so he’s made tracks in the street, but it’s still pretty. While he’s brave enough to venture out into the white world, we’ve seen enough people on the news getting stuck and having accidents. I’m just glad my car is nice and warm in the garage; clean too! I don’t think I’ve watched the news much in years, but it is fun to watch all the idiots being stupid out there. Our own resident idiot (the dog) is refusing to go outside. Thus far she has pee’d twice in the driveway from being unable to find the yard.

We are prepared thankfully to be home for several days. We have a natural gas space heater that is more efficient than the furnaces, so even if the ice knocks out the power we’ll have heat. While the stove and oven are electric, we do have a natural gas grill outside in the cabana that we can cook on if need be. Although I think we’ll all go stir-crazy without TV or internet. I’m trying my best to keep my iPad and iPhone fully charged, as well as my laptop so I can still keep them charged. Sorry I’ve babbled so much about the snow. I mainly wanted to give you guys a glimpse of what winter in Georgia looks like. Everyone be safe and have fun!

I honestly don’t know why I am sitting downstairs with my parents watching football on tv. This has to be the most boring shit ever broadcast on television, well next to golf that is. They just finished playing one game and as soon as it ended they start showing the next one. It’s pure madness I tell you!

Truthfully though I find most sports boring. It may be a gay thing, or it may just be the fact I’ve never been good at any sport. Although I do love ice hockey, not on tv, but in person. I really need to get some tickets to see a game. The arena is less than three miles from our house so its very convenient.

Does anyone else hate Adam Sandler & Will Farrell? They are so annoying! Sorry, I saw a commercial for an Adam Sandler movie. Oh and the random fact of the day is that woodchucks are actually just groundhogs.

Oh, I’m being called away ton play Yahtzee with my mom. Guess that’s my cue to run. Later y’all!

Last week I had an accident when doing my hair. It accidentally came out looking like this and I’ve been doing it ever since. Truthfully I think it’s too long to be doing this, but it still looks pretty cool. Everyone thinks it’s rock hard when they go to touch it, but its really soft and fluffy. I tested it out today in the rain and it held up pretty well too. Please ignore the shirt. I really don’t like it very much. In fact I don’t even remember ever purchasing it. After I got out of the shower today I went rummaging though my closet for a long-sleeve shirt and came across this and felt guilty that it has probably never been worn before.

I figured I’d bring the blog back out of retirement today. I had switched to tumblr, which is neat in its own regard, but it just isn’t the same. I’ll continue to use it too, but it’s mainly a photo-blog to me and by photo I really mean snap-shots. Oh, I also picked out a new theme for WordPress too!

As you can probably guess, I still haven’t found a job yet. Unfortunate as that is, I have applied to a few more places this week. Lets all keep our fingers crossed for me okay!? I really hope someone gives me a chance to prove that I can do a great job. If you know of a job opening, or if you yourself are hiring I’m right here!!! *waves arms*

Ahh well, I’m getting a bit hungry, so I think it’s time to run. Have a great weekend y’all!

The weather started out pretty bleak this week. It was mostly rain and cloudy but surprisingly it has turned into some beautiful sunny cool weather. Fall is finally here and no more blazing heat! It has been so nice in fact that I’ve had the air turned off the last few days and had the windows open. All the kitties have enjoyed that but especially Loki. It warms my heart seeing something so simple make him so happy.

All day we had black helicopters circling around the house. I’m curious as to what they were looking for, or whom. Maybe it wasn’t anything too freaky. Speaking of, I hear sirens outside now. Someone isn’t having a good night. Oh and they’ve started repaving our neighborhood, which is great. Unfortunately it seems they are repaving every street except ours.

Plum has been rather cheerful too. He’s spent the past few days out from under the bed enjoying the breeze. Right now he’s laying on Billy’s pillow, which could very well explain why I wake up with fur in my mouth sometimes. Now I wish Bailey would warm up to the world in general. We’ve had him for a year now and he still hides under the bed at the faintest noise.

Oh and I have some great news to report; I’ve made a new friend! Now ordinarily I wouldn’t bring this up as none of you will probably care, but this is actually neat. At a party several weeks ago Billy and I met a guy and his boyfriend and we chatted a little. Later on he added me to facebook and Twitter. Now through the miracle of foursquare he noticed when I checked in at home that I lived less than a mile away. We’ve lived next to each other for almost 13 years and never knew it. Quite ironic and neat at the same time! Well I thought it was cool anyway…

Oh well I have a lot of TV to catch up on, I’ll catch you guys later!
